About the Department
The astronomy science department at K.A.U is the first department of its type in the kingdom which was established to be a basic center for following astronomical and space science developments in order to prepare for qualified future generations in this important field
The astronomy studies was started in the second term of the academic year 1976 as part of the physics Department, then it was approved by the higher council of universities to be an independent department granting on masters degree in astrology / astrology and physic / mathematics.
